I've been an artist maker in Brighton now for 14 years. Working from studios originally in Trafalgar street, then in New England house and now in Bond street cottages in the North Laine, as part of the Sussex Country arts club.
I make work from recycled wood, papers and things people sometimes throw away. I give it love and a new life.
From fabric renewal to sculptures from old books giving things new life is a great inspiration of mine.
Things I will be making for Foodshed-
Recycled fabric shopper bags-
Recycled fabric aprons-
Made from found second hand materials with themed felt appliqué.
Book sculpture- using vintage books that otherwise might have been disposed of.
There's an unlimited supply of old unloved books and I like to use them for some low impact crafting!
Handmade cards- and envelope packs from comics /old maps/ recycled paper/ old calendars/ magazines.
Knitted cakes and vegetables- hand made using wool sourced from charity shops, unravelled clothing.
Save money and waste with my eco friendly bags.
